• Are customized and relevant to the needs and goals of both individuals and the organization.

• Create awareness of individual attitudes and behaviors that generate conflict, inhibit communication and foster inequalities between diverse groups of individuals.

• Cultivate the skills necessary for cross-cultural competence (e.g. communication, conflict resolution, team-building, supervision, problem-solving, customer service).

• Foster alliances within and between diverse groups and build forums for continuous improvement that fully utilize the potential of the diverse workforce.
